Emily had her first Dr.'s appointment this week. I was excited to see how much she had grown. I was surprised and disappointed to find out that she still hasn't gotten back to her birth weight! She weighed in at 7 lbs. 4 ounces. 3 ounces less than when she was born. The Dr. didn't seem worried, but it stressed me out. Now I'm paranoid about how much and how often she is eating. They did her PKU today. I hate that sooo much. Sixteen years ago, when Brennan, my oldest had his heal stuck, he started to cry, then I started to cry, and then the nurse started to cry. I was a little tougher this go around, but I still hate it.
Will and I met twenty-one years ago in high school. We dated for about two years, and then Will served a mission in Texas, and I went off to college. Soon after he returned home we were married in the Salt Lake Temple. Seventeen years later, we have five fantastic kids, one on the way, and a completely crazy life that I wouldn't trade for anything.
