This morning my kids got to go with our friend Ann, and do a spot for atv safety on the news. This is just a small clip. The kids had fun, even though they had to get up at 4:30 am to be out there for the shoot. Which was insane right after the time change! They said that Casey was really great, and lots of fun. In this shot, Brennan and McKinley are riding the atv's and Conner is doing what Conner does. Ashlyn is not in this segment, except when they breifly pan down on her. :( But she was very cute in her spots.


P.S. We are working with Conner on his humility. :)

Get Away

This past weekend Will had to go down to St. George for work. My sweet mom watched the kids for us, so I tagged along. Will pretty much planned the weekend, so it was more of an adventurous weekend, than your typical "romantic" getaway.
We stayed at these amazing condo's that are super nice. (we mooch off my parents time share, and get bonus time so they are amazingly cheap too!!) They have a fishing pond just a few hundred yards from the condos. We fished to our hearts content and caught around 35 fish! Will won the prize for the biggest fish.

We also went shooting. I'm not so hot, but I did hit the target a few times. I can claim a couple of the dings in the target.

We also went to the Temple. It was a first for both of us to go to a session in the St. George Temple. It was BEAUTIFUL! We really enjoyed ourselves.

A highlight was visiting my Great Aunt and Uncle, Glenda and Bert. Bert is my Granddad's little brother. Being with them made me miss my Grandparents so much! I wasn't prepared for that. It was wonderful talking with them. They are amazing people!

Well, I start my second trimester tomorrow! I can't wait to start feeling better. It was great to get away with my sweetheart and take a break. It turned out to be a very adventurous AND romantic weekend. Thanks sweetie.

Pajama Day

Today was pajama day at school. Ashlyn was so excited. She picked out some of her special jammies last night. I woke up to her smiling face leaning over me this morning. Her hair was done, shoes on. She was ready to go. I drove carpool to school today. On the way home I got a hysterical phone call from 7 year old Ashlyn. Today was NOT pajama day. Ashlyn was in tears. I told her I would pick her up out front of the the school in two minutes. She came out to the car with her hall pass. We ran home, changed her clothes and she said, "I feel like a Duffis!" 273 times. I think she will survive. (Hopefully without counseling)

Well, here is our "Last of the

little guys!"

We call him (or her) GUS.

Everyone is WAY excited. I am WAY sick and yucky,

but VERY Happy!

Gus will be here in September. We can't wait!

Hopefully I will learn how to use my scanner soon, and I can put

an actual picture of Gus up. We think he (or she) is just adorable!

We've already had 3 ultrasounds.

Well, that's our little Gus.

Bronson's Miracle

I have been following this family for the last two weeks. I don't know them, but my heart is so happy for them and their miracle. Take a look. It will warm your heart.

Valentines came early!

This is what I woke up to this morning. What a way to start my day! Then.....My sweetheart texted me during the day to invite me out to dinner.

and then we had a bunch of these.

After dinner we raced to Conner's solo and ensemble performance,

and Viewmont's Hockey Game.

Then we came home, snuggled up in bed, and shared a slice of

this. Market Street's yummy Fresh Fruit Tart.

My Prince Charming is wonderful! I am so lucky!

Bear Lake...Brrrr

What a slacker I am! I can't believe it has been almost a month since I blogged. I thought I would throw up a few pictures of our Bear Lake snowmobiling trip over MLK weekend. Here, Brooklynn is ready to go for a ride. She is all about speed! We went with two other families that we are good friends with. Imagine... 19 people! We stopped at Angie's in Logan on the way home. Our waitress (in the green shirt) did an amazing job keeping everyone straight, and who belonged to who. I was impressed!

The snow was a little low. There was sagebrush sticking up in a lot of areas. There is a big hill where we go where the kids can sled or snowboard and then we haul them back up to the top of the hill. The first day we were there a women broke her ankle (BAD) and Will and Cliff were good boy scouts and rescued her. I don't know how she would have gotten up the hill without the snowmobiles.

This picture was taken right before our "Adults night out." We went out on the town in good ole Garden City. There is a fun restaurant up there with yummy food. I can't remember the name, but just look for the great big bear out front. They even bring out raspberry sherbet to cleanse your pallet before the main course. (High society Bear Lake)

We had a blast, and it seemed like everyone had a great time. Let's do it again!
